Today we ended the class with a discussion about how new media enables us (and also creates the urge) to change and edit the reality. We in a way want to apply the same media-life-logic of continuous play, pause, edit and delete to our IRL-lives as well.
This reminded me of the latest must have gadget that will be released to the consumer market this year: the ultimate media life device, the Google Glass. By enabling you to video capture everything you see and experience, it also creates endless possibilities of retakes and replays of your experiences as well.
