The number one thing I love about the media the most is that there are different types of media depending on the mood you are in.
I heart my media because it makes me feel connected to other people. Media tells what is happening in the world and in other people their lives. Whether it are interviews about the affected of local hazards, ASOS hauls on Youtube or vacation pics on Instagram, media is information about other people. Almost of the apps on my phone is about connecting with other people. Whatsapp messenger, Facebook, Instagram, The calendar app is designed to remember appointments for connecting with other people.
What I also love about media is the media that allows you to escape the ‘real’ world and connect with people in a very different way, through avatars. For example: Habbo Hotel
There is also media for the times you do not feel the need to communicate (with other humans) and just want to get some ‘me(mario)-time’
