Why I Heart My Media

I love media for all sorts of reasons. One of them is that media give me information about a variety of things. Such as news, culture, music and food. I can use my smartphone to find good music or recipes, but also to look up what is happening in other parts of the world.  Of course media does not only give information about things we’re dealing with right now, it can also educate us about the past. If you’re a history buff like me, you probably follow more history accounts on Instagram than actual people (which is totally okay). I don’t have time to go to the library, pick out a book and actually sit down to read it. That’s why I love media and of course my smartphone, because I only have to scroll through my Instagram feed to see historical photos and facts. Things I probably wouldn’t have seen if the media weren’t around. And the best thing is, that I can do all this while waiting for my train or eating my dinner!
