I am a generation Z child, therefore I have been born into the whirlind that is media since I can remember and I can not picture life without it.
I can still remember being 5 years old and waiting for my favorite shows on Disney Channel or stealing cheap gosspi magazines from my sister at at 11.
I would not be here if today’s media would not be part of my life.
I don’t know what kind of person I would be without media.
How would I talk to my family or friends?
How would I navigate my self in Amsterdam?
How would I study or find a new recipe?
A lot of the things that I know today are because of media. I learned english through TV shows like Friends and Pretty Little Liars, I learned russian by watching Disney in it, because it was the only option we had. I found out my family history thanks of it. I made friends through social platforms.
I love media because it made our lives what they are today.
Media is part of me and I am part of media.
