I heart media because it keeps me connected with my friends and the world around me through skype, facebook, and reddit.
Why I heart my media Michael Schulenburg
It helps one stay connected to anyone regardless of the distance
Justin Young – Why i heart media
I love media because with media we never can miss an important event it could be around the world and we would be able to see it. Also it stores the incredible things that have happened in the past so we can go back and re-watch them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji5_MqicxSo

Last week I lost my iPhone. Losing my smart phone really showed me how important media is in my life. I rely very heavily on my phone and losing it just pointed out how much our society is dependent on media and how much our generation truly loves media.
Evan Ware Why I Heart My Media
I heart my media because without it i don’t know how I would survive. I use media almost every hour of the day in my life. I use it when I’m bored in class, I use it to catch up with friends, I use it to do my school work. Media is such a big part of almost everyones life and I think if today media was no more our society wouldn’t know how to survive. I heart my media because its a way to be entertained, as well as a way to be informed about all the day to day things that go around us. I heart my media because I need it to enjoy the lifestyle that I live
Limitless – Rachael Roof
Sometimes the circumstances of my life leave me feeling unsatisfied, limited in what I can achieve, how I can express myself, and where I can go. Money, time, space, responsibility, gender, class and other aspects of my physical environment seem to dictate which experiences are available to me, who I can interact with, and in what ways I can pursue my ambitions. I heart my media because it provides for me a portal into a limitless world of vicarious experience that enriches my life and inspires me artistically. What my virtual world lacks in tangibility it makes up for in boundless opportunity and connectedness with what is important to me. I can experience all manner of people, location, sound, imagery, knowledge, and so fourth on the internet. Although these experiences are, as I stated earlier, merely vicarious, they do however introduce me to alternative culture and communities that eventually come to color my physical reality and “real life.” I guess I’m just saying that the internet just makes me feel as though I have access to things, experiences, and like-minded people that are normally out-of-reach in my every day life, and I like that. The media that I have consumed on the internet has played a huge role in my creation and maintenance of self, and I think that is true for nearly everyone in my generation.
Kevin Potter
I heart my media because it keeps me alive. Without my cell phone I would never wake up for class in time, and I would never know what my friends were doing. This would make me lonely and pathetic. I also use my media for all sorts of entertainment, especially when I’m bored. In the end, without media I’d be a pathetic bored loser.
I love media because…
music relaxes me in times of stress. music helps me concentrate in times of erratic thinking.

as a high school student my mother and I were constantly battling each other, over absolutely everything. Sometimes I swear we just did it because we knew exactly what to do to infuriurate the other. In the end she also won our so called “battles” and her immediate go to move was taking away my iPhone. And this was just the worst kind of punishment for me and she knew it. She disconnected me from all my friends because she knew it drove me absolutely crazy! To this day, I still have small panic attacks when my phone goes missing, even for the shortest periods of time.
