Reflections on How and Why We Love Media
Media helps me keep in contact with friends miles away as well as ones right next to me. I use media to know what’s going on in this world and make plans to see real people in person. Also, I’m able to see my favorite movies, listen to my favorite songs, and explore new ideas through the internet. Media is a crucial part of my life, and everybody’s life around me. The world wouldn’t be what it is today without media.

WHY I HEART MY MEDIA
My iPhone is what wakes me up in the morning. If it doesn’t go off, I never get out! I use my phone as a GPS, to check e-mail, check facebook, keep up with current news, check the weather, check my bank accounts, take memorable pictures, use the internet, send texts, and keep in touch using the phone…that’s what it’s made for right?!
I hate to admit, without my iPhone, I would be a very lost individual…because I have had an iPhone, there is no turning back to anything less. This is why I HEART my media!
Media helps keeps one of the most important things in my life with me at all times: music. At any point in the day, I can just pull out my iPod and listen to whatever, whenever.

I heart media because it brings everyone together. People who are hundreds of miles away can connect through media as if they were right next to each other.
I love all media, but my favorite form of media is video games. I love video games because they encompass other forms of media such as cinematic story telling, social networking (Xbox live and PSN network), and music. It is not the presence of these elements that necessarily make video games fun to me, but rather it is the level of interactivity that is allowed within in them that appeals to me. For instance, if I were to watch a movie, I must sit back and try to relate to the main character, but if I were to play a video game, I become the main character. Whenever I have a bad day or get a bad grade I immerse myself into a game, as if taking a drug in order to temporarily escape from the drama known as reality. Not only do I love games that help me to escape reality, but I also enjoy games that connect me with other players and permits me to compete with or against them. Since I am a competitive person, I like that modern games enable me to connect with and compete against people from all over the world.

I enjoy media and technology because it connects me with others. Most people use media everyday and it can be beneficial but it also can be disturbing. Im the kind of person who enjoys the outdoors and quiet so when I have a phone disturbing me it can upset me. Overall technology is great and I hope it grows and expands forever.
Why I “HEART” media:
IT connects everyone around the world. Before we were only able to connect with the people we live with, work with or even go to school with. Now we are able to connect with people all around us. It makes us learn other values as well as other cultures. I “HEART” media in the way that it connects us.
I heart media because not only is it easy to connect with others thousands of miles away, but I have access to everything, including music to video. I can keep up with news around the world and share it with others with a few clicks. Possibilities are endless.
I love media because i can stay in contact with people that I don’t see on a daily basis. The form of media I like most are social networks, mainly Facebook and Twitter.
