Why I Heart My Media

I believe media and the ability it has is one of the most interesting things in the world at this point. The internet is still generally new and it’s amazing that there are so many incredible possibilities and ideas that still haven’t been thought up of yet. I remember seeing the iPod and thinking it was the most amazing thing ever. I could finally listen to any song from any album I wanted, and I didnt have to carry around a huge CD player. Media is amazing in that you will never get bored with it. As the world progresses, media will be in the most unexpected places and be displayed in the most ridiculous ways. I posted the video of Rad 2.0 because our discussion about remote controls and the ability to control everything you want with a device you hold reminded me of Rad. I used to have one also, I miss it…

I HEART MY MEDIA LIFE BECAUSE I CAN STAY IN TOUCH WITH MY SISTER!

I heart media because at a very young age I started playing video games.  I played the original wolfenstein 3d which was one of the first first person shooters ever and ever since I have been playing video games and learning from them.

I love my media because I can talk and chat with my parents face to face!!!!!!!

I heart my media because I have not really experienced life without it. From the time I was little, there has been television, gaming systems, computers etc. Media is what connects me to my friends, family, and the world around. I sit here with my laptop, phone, and ipod all in use and cannot imagine not having that type of capability.

Why I ❤ My Media

I ❤ my media because it allows me to stay connected with others.  I can connect through music, social media sites, my phone (of course!), Skype, as well as news, etc.  Media has made life convenient, and it has really become a necessity because almost every interaction within everyday life uses media in some way.

I heart my media because without it i don’t know what i would do. As I am typing this out on my laptop in the Union, I am also watching a movie on my Ipod and playing words with friends on facebook. There’s so many different things you can do with media. You can almost find something new to do everyday. Thats why I heart my media.

i love my media because it alows me to interact with my family. the rest of my family lives in boston, new jersey, and pennsivenia so it is the only way i can communicate with them while im here in indiana

 

I heart my media because I can use it to contact family that lives far away. I have a 1 year old niece and the only way I can see her growing and doing new things is through the pictures and videos my sister uploads to facebook or through Face Time on an i-Phone.

I heart my media because without it, I would have no connection with my family, who lives 5 hours away in Chicago. It keeps me from being homesick, and helps me adapt to my new world here at IU while still being able to talk and see my parents all the time on skype.
