Why I Heart My Media

I heart media because it allows me to feel connected to my favorite performers, actors/actresses, etc. through by viewing their movies, shows, interviews, blogs, and twitter.

I love media because it allows me to keep images like this

I love media because it can act as a resource to information around the world. I am able to know what is happening in current events and am able to stay up to date in technologies.

I heart media because it allows me to stay in touch with how technology is changing our world, as well as keep in touch with friends across the country with ease. Here is also a really cool video of an animated tattoo a guy got, I think it relates to the end of the last lecture when media is used on peoples bodies. 

I heart my media because without it I wouldn’t be able to keep in close contact with friends and family I don’t get to see often. I love media because it keeps me entertained all day everyday through a virtual world that is questionable if it even exists. I also love media because I can not come in real contact with any of my friends all day and still know exactly what they are doing.

I love media because it keeps me updated on current events.  It allows me to stay in contact with friends and family.  Media is a good resource for school and work.  Also it can serve as a good comic relief when needed.

I love my media because it feeds me. Im hungry for all sorts of information, but a major food source I’m always getting from the media is my music. MY music is a part of me. Not only do I seek it for comfort, relaxation, and inspiration. But it is my fuel throughout the day. I go to music when I have nothing. My writing is my second nature and music is a tool I use constantly to keep my gears turning. Poetry and music are peanut butter and jelly. I’ll eat that sandwich all day.

I heart my media because not only can it be used for informative purposes when necessary but also as a relaxation tool. On the weekends when I’m trying to have some fun I plug in my iPod and blast upbeat tunes. When I’m doing my homework I put in my headphones and listen to calmer music in order to focus easier.

I love media because it allows me to connect with friends and family that have moved away or those who I just cant see often. I have family all over the country, and through Facebook, I can still keep in contact with them. And now that I’m finally here at IU, social media really helps me to keep in contact with friends that have gone to different colleges. Another thing that I love about media is that it allows me to experience a lot of different cultures and types of music that I may not have been exposed to if it weren’t for the internet. And that’s why I love media 🙂
