Well, I love media because it lets me know what’s going on in the world right when it happens. The speed in which information travels today probably is nothing short of amazing. I’m sure just 30 years ago, nobody would have even thought it to be possible. I feel a feeling of emptiness when I don’t have my cell phone readily accessible. It’s changed the way we live our lives, and it will continue to change as time goes on. I can’t wait.

Why I ❤ Media?

Well when I was a little girl I watched the show Inspector Gadget. Inspector Gadget’s niece Penny had this computer book and I thought it was the coolest thing. I can’t remember all it did, but she always had it with her in her backpack. It would help her solve the cases and save the day. here is a clip of one thing she could do with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uUyR7hjhwI  That piece of technology was so interesting all of that power and information in her hands.  As a child I would carry around a small phone book and pretend it was my own computer book.  Today we have pieces of media like that. They are smaller, faster and the possibility of what it can do are endless. That is why I love media, something that was so far-fetched over 10 years ago can be made a reality. I don’t have to pretend anymore.

Drew Moncelle: Why I love media

I love media because although I went to an out of state school and am over 200 miles, 5 hours, and a time zone away from my family, I don’t have to go home whenever I want to communicate with them. i just open up facebook, skype, my phone, etc… and can get comfort from my family. Also, the different ways technology has been advanced inspires my creative side and makes me want to explore the endless possibilities technology has to advance

I love media because we create it. Media helps people interact with one another and has become a social network. It gives us more knowledge than we realize. We can learn about almost anything on our smart phones and internet. It is part of our everyday life. Talent is discovered by media by youtube or any other websites where people can share their creativity. It provides many ways for everyone to be artistic.Everyone should love the world they live in. The world we live in today is based on technology, which is only growing faster and faster.

i ❤ media.  period.
Specifically my iPhone.  It connects me to everything I could ever need in the palm of my hand.  Emails, texts, pleasure. etc… it’s all right there.
And my MacBook Pro.  Couldn’t make media without it.  Music, movies, pictures… the whole deal.

I love college by Nhan Nguyen

I love being a student here at IU. I get to meet new people and hang out with my old friends at the same time. I also get to play tennis competitively at the IU tennis club. The people there are very good at tennis and it is an awesome feeling when I beat them haha. The classes are challenging and time consuming but they are very interesting especially Intro to Informatic and Media life. Unlike other class that I took in high school, these two class uses video and allow us to visualize what our future could possibly turn out. I am having a good time so far… let’s see if college keep being awesome like this or not.
