Why I Heart My Media

My DVDs are life to me…I brought 300 movies with me to college and countless TV seasons. I actually had to choose my favorites because I didn’t have enough room in my case.

I can use media to know the latest news about my favourite singer Leehom by reading his microblog and facebook to see what happened to him recently. This is why I like media!!!!

Why I heart my media?

As a international student, so media allows me to keep in touch with  my family at home and my friends all over the world.  Such like remote video chat, Facebook, twitter.   Media also can give me more information what I wanna know.  It is could bring us a lot of pleasure.

i LOVE my media because it’s the ONLY thing that keeps me sane.

Every one uses social media in the class for various reasons. For fun, to keep in touch, to network for greater purpose, to get deals on various things, and to stay informed. For me my main use is to keep in touch with my real good friends who dont go here at IU. Some go to Ball State, Lafayette, and Local colleges back home. So through facebook, twitter, and skype I dont miss whats going on with them. I stay in the know and when I get to hang out with my group of friends its like we pick up right where we left off and we dont really have to catch up on things. ALso my facebook today is not working so something is messed up and it is really annoying.

Why I heart my media:

Media is a huge part of life nowadays and a great way to connect with people whether your good friends with them or have only met them once.  My sister lived in Peru all of last year and I relied on media to stay in contact with her over there.  Skype and Facebook were the best and easiest ways for me to continually talk to her and see her, view pictures she uploaded of her adventures and hear her crazy stories.  I love media, especially when it allows us to keep and strengthen relationships with one another.

I love media because I can feel absolutely connected to a character that I have grown to understand and love through intricate storytelling on television.  (Spoiler alert for those who have not seen the series.)

Why I love media:

Although I use all forms of media in my daily life, I love DVR most.  With this application, I am able to watch television shows at times when it convenient for me.  I use it to catch up on shows that I have to miss due to other events in my life or to record random movies that I haven’t seen, but don’t want to watch at the moment.
