Why I Heart My Media

I enjoy using Stumbleupon because it is a great way to explore many of my interests and learn about things that I am interested in that I normally wouldn’t get to see if I was surfing the web on my own. It can entertain me for hours at a time, and I don’t feel as guilty wasting time on it because I classify it as a learning experience, versus a complete misuse of time.

I love media because it allows me to stay connected with the world. Because of my iphone, i’m able to check bloomberg, cnn, and countless other sites all on the way to class

I love media because it entertains me and inspires me to create media of my own. Creating music, video games, graphics, and videos has been a huge part of my life. My major is Recording Arts because I was inspired by a friend’s music to start making my own. So, media is a huge part of who I am and who I strive to be.

Why I heart my media:

Without media, I would be stuck in our little bubble with no knowledge of the outside world. Because of media I can learn about what is going on halfway across the globe, while keeping in touch with family and friends all over the world.

I Heart My Media— This past weekend my phone was stolen and I didn’t know how to cope without it. It had all the information I needed, it was like my right hand man had gone missing!

Media keeps me connected with my dad when he travels overseas for work.

We use cellphone, internet, apps in iphone and many other media tools to connect with other people and the world.

I heart my media because it allows me to catch up with family members/friends that have moved away.  Also, I love my media to create events to get people together.
