For me, the media are a way to express myself. Having an ongoing mind can sometimes be challenging; it may keep you up all night at times or even distract you while you are ought to do assignments for school. This assignment has not been an exeption; while writing this I constantly got distracted by new music videos, interesting YouTube videos and the newest Instagram posts by my favourite people. These “distractions” nourish the right side of my brain, most of the times giving me new ideas for filmconcepts, interesting camera angles or a short story. Then the circle of medialife occurs; the absorbed media have been processed in my brain and are, by sharing videos, photos and stories myself, set free again. The media for me are a way of expressing myself, they are a way of clearing my thoughts for short periods at a time. The media lead to art, my art. The art I will hopefully someday be able to share with the rest of the world in the form of feature films.
